Legislative
Government advocacy is vital to our industry. Our work influences policy making by informing lawmakers on the issues faced by manufacturers. It mitigates risks posed by legislation that would challenge our ability to produce the goods needed by consumers. Advocates help to level the playing field with other industries, businesses whose work is more well known and understood by the public and by lawmakers. Most importantly, our efforts support long-term stability by making sure that decision makers understand the impact that we have on the state of Georgia, while also understanding the impact that their decisions make on us.
GAM works diligently to represent your interests by actively engaging with state government bodies, regulatory agencies, educational institutions, and the general public. Our primary goal is to highlight the significance of the manufacturing sector and redefine its perception in society.
We take a proactive stance on the most crucial matters to safeguard our industry and cultivate an optimal operational landscape. Our dedicated members play a pivotal role in shaping the manufacturing agenda within Georgia. They actively lead discussions, laying out the blueprint for the state's manufacturing landscape, while also guiding GAM's advocacy initiatives, and they help make Georgia a great place for our industry.
